Dormitory Life

I have been away with my parents since high school. we can't afford condo units nor apartment so I have no choice but to stay in a dormitory.

Living with other people most of whom you don't know is exciting. Knowing them personally build new friendships and experiences. It's simply a wonder knowing different cultures gathered together in harmonious rhythm.

I am now staying at Molave Residence Hall, one of the many dormitories in the University of the Philippines Diliman. True enough I met new friends and had a lot of exciting experiences. But definitely there would be pros and cons in a public place where almost everything are shared and common.

Last week I lost my laptop. It was a birthday gift from my parents and it was hard-earned. It was stolen inside my locker the day before i will take a flight for GenSan. I barely can't express how I feel for myself considering I have countless issues regarding money. I can't help but tell my parents what happened and expected the worst things to happen. Initial reaction - they were indifferent. I even planned of not flying back home. But thanks for the realization of how stupid it will be of me being indifferent to them as well.

I'm over with the stolen laptop issue. My concern now is of how will I be able to replace it. To whoever stole it, rest in peace.
